Getting Started
Reaching out is the hardest part.
Here is exactly how it works — no mystery, no surprises. No paperwork and no commitment until you decide you're ready to begin.
A free 15-minute consultation
We begin with a short, no-pressure call — a chance to tell me a little about what's bringing you in, ask anything you'd like, and for both of us to get a feel for whether we're a good fit. There's no paperwork and no commitment at this stage. Just a conversation.
Your intake paperwork — via DocuSign
If we decide to work together, you'll receive your intake forms to review and sign electronically through a secure DocuSign link before our first session. These cover informed consent, practice policies, a HIPAA notice, and a brief questionnaire about your history and what you're hoping for. It takes only a few minutes — and it means our first session can be spent on you rather than on forms.
Our first session
The first session isn't a test, and you don't need to arrive with everything figured out or the right words ready. Mostly, I'll want to hear your story and what led you here, and you'll get a sense of what it's like to work with me. We go at your pace. Sessions are about 50 minutes.
The work, together
From there, we shape the work together. Most people begin weekly, which gives the work continuity and momentum; we can adjust as we go. My approach is depth-oriented and relational — we don't just manage symptoms, we come to understand what's underneath them, with care and without rushing.
